What is a drive-in racking?

A drive-in rack resembles a drive-through rack, except it can only be accessed from one side. Pallets are stored on rails mounted to the uprights, with multiple pallets stored in-depth per level.

Here, only the last in, first out (LIFO) principle can be used. Because loading and unloading take place at the same location, drive-in racks optimize space usage and reduce traffic paths.
