Module 2: Company & Warehouse Setup
Company master settings relevant for warehouse behavior and special functions (e.g. enabling returnable item handling, hazardous substances at company level)
Creating and maintaining companies and warehouses, including locations, items, variants, batches, and best-before dates
Setting up transport equipment and basic staging locations for inbound/outbound flows
Maintaining printer settings and working with the print log
Module 3: Key Data (Menu 101) and Process Configuration
Concept and importance of keys in EPG ONE WMS and their effect on day-to-day work
Settings for stocktaking (permanent and fixed date) and how they affect inventory processes and files
Activating and configuring returnable item handling (company settings, returnable item types, movement types, evaluation menus)
Hazardous substances handling: relevant company and key settings, links to item data and inventory list configuration
Module 5: Data Flow, SQL & Query Tools for Administrators
Overview of data flows in goods in and goods dispatch (purchase orders, goods receipt, putaway, work packages, picking, packing, loading) and related files
Using menu B71 to execute SQL commands safely for analysis (file structures, selection queries)
Using Query Manager (B78/B79) to create and execute reusable queries, including use of variables and export to Excel
Typical admin-level questions answered via SQL/queries (e.g. data consistency checks, process tracing)
Module 6: Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Best Practices
Monitoring process status via standard overviews and job-related information (e.g. open transports, incomplete goods in and dispatch steps)
Recognizing and resolving configuration-related issues (e.g. missing or incorrect keys, incomplete master data, incorrect company/warehouse settings)
Housekeeping and maintenance routines (e.g. periodic checks, documentation of changes, working with test vs. production)
